Welcome to KLAP – Theatre for Young Audiences
In April 2025, from the 3rd to the 6th, around 100 professional children’s and youth theatres from across Denmark will gather at KLAP – Theatre for Young Audiences – one of the world’s largest theatre festivals for children and youth, as well as one of the major cultural events of the year in the Municipality of Kolding.
The theatres will present over 150 different productions within just four days. Thousands of free tickets will be distributed throughout the festival.
Danish theatre for children and youth has a well-deserved international reputation for its exceptionally high quality. As a result, the festival typically attracts a large number of theatre professionals from many different countries.
The festival is organised by Teatercentrum and the Municipality of Kolding. The festival is jointly funded by Teatercentrum, the host municipality, and the Danish Ministry of Culture.
